Cocktails and dinner
Edward works the room table by table. Guests meet him personally, which matters more than it sounds: an hour later they are watching someone they have already met.

The turn
Word travels between tables during the meal. By the time the room is asked to face the stage, the audience is not being introduced to a performer. They are waiting for him.

The feature act
The full stage show, with volunteers, predictions and optional hypnosis. Everything the close-up hinted at gets paid off in front of everyone at once.
